if i go for the 1070 instead the price will be £945 or so would it be worth it i do plan on overclocking and getting 2 1440p monitors in the future

Do you plan to game at 4k? Then yes but if you play 1080p or 1440p the 1070 does just fine.

If you can afford it then get the GTX 1080. Plus if your going to be gaming on a multi-monitor setup then you'll want the more powerful card.

Currently the GTX 1070 offers a much better price to performance ratio. Personally, I'd wait to see if the 1080Ti releases soon and prices of the 1080 will drop significantly. My choice would be the 1070 now or wait a bit and then get the 1080. I actually own the 1070 you have linked, excellent choice!

^^^I agree, waiting would probably be a better option to get a better price however it looks like it may not come out until March.
