Hi, in order to keep the x470 taichi, I have to update the bios and get the loan cpu from AMD, which is a process, or should I send the x470 taichi back and get something like the x570 TUF. I only have a ryzen 3600, so I do not overclock--but I do want a decent motherboard. I don't want the msi 450 Tomahawk. I may upgrade the cpu in the future.

I am hesitant to give up the x470 because I got for $140, so a good deal on a pretty solid board.

I have also considered the x570 taichi, but that is getting a bit out of my price range.

Any suggestions on motherboards?

I called a couple of them, but they said they would not so it because you can damage the mobo--so...
who said that lol go to another shop and tell him that i want to update the bios he will put a 1st or 2nd gen ryzen cpu and put the bios update on a usb and update the bios the x470 is pretty much the same as x570 there is no a big difference between them and a x470 mb for 140$ that's a good deal
