Hi, so i wanted to know does power unit need to be off after pc shutdown? Today i encountered with weird situations, when i woke up and went to Turn On my PC and it not reacted.... I mean power turn button on case. Tried few times still nothing, then i tried return off/on Power Unit and now PC started. That was very weird, but before for many years it wasnt happened.... My system components are good enough for performance, all of their is by well known Company. I forgot mentioning that my PC is connected to UPS, it works well. So should i turn off my Power Unit at night to saving from voltage surge?

they have a 3 year warranty. It could be the cause. It could be getting old... now that its 5 years old.
You shouldn't need to turn off/on to get it to work.

is this windows 10? Do you have fast startup on? if you have an ssd its not helpful - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html
But I don't think it would have stopped PC starting.

Keep an eye on PC and see if it happens again, could have been a one off.

Hmm, understood

Way back before I had a brain and used quality PSU's I had the same issue every year and a half, It was my choice of garbage PSU's.

As soon as I swapped the PSU out problem solved.

Once I switched to a good quality PSU, that became a thing of the past, until sometime after the warranty.
