So i've been using ai suite 3 for almost a year now and i know little about stuff like this so i just let it be on my computer, but now it's starting to annoy me a bit so i'm wondering if i should uninstall it or not, but first i have some questions:
-Is asus ai suite 3 neccessary for the motherboard to function correctly?
-Are there any programs that i can install instead of ai suite 3 that are better?
-If i want to uninstall ai suite 3 can i just do so via the Control panel?
-I might try to reinstall ai suite 3 but how do i do so? I jsut went to the asus sabertooth z87 site and downloaded ai suite 3 Version 1.00.56 With this description:

When i downloaded it i got a .rar file. How do i install ai suite 3? If i extract the .rar file, .exe file should i run to install ai suit e3? Do i have to install every single thing listed abovce by it's own ot, Is it possible to install ai suite 3 With everything listed in the except network icontrol?

Sorry for these questions but i really don't know much about this software stuff, i more of a hardware guy.
Thanks in advance :)

I've gone thru this a few years ago with earlier versions, and I no longer install those 'niceties' simply because I didn't use them, or I could accomplish even more manually without wasting computer resources.

I think I uninstalled quite a few, didn't like the way the computer was running afterwards (as if I'd taken out some critical software) and I ended up re-loading Windows. But I re-load Windows anyway - just out of habit. Just to get a clean, fresh machine that runs so much faster than ever before.

IF you're considering this kind of housecleaning, I'd recommend a total wipe-out and re-load instead of just uninstalls.

AND, if you have a spare hard-drive laying around - something that could be a new boot drive - even better! Yank out (or unplug) the current boot drive, install the new fresh copy of Windows on that spare one and, after a few days of successful running with the new drive, plug in the old one as a Secondary Drive and pull off all your files.

If you screw up this re-load, then you've got your original drive, sitting there, untouched!

I have Windows on an ssd and all my programs and stuff on my hard driver, but i really doin't want to reinstall Windows in case i lose everything. But can i uninstall and reinstall ai suite 3 without having to reinstall Windows, and if thats the case, how?
