Should I update my chipset drivers

I am getting my r5 2600 today and I have a Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 motherboard. I have already updated my bios to the latest version. Should I update the chipset driver before I upgrade the cpu to another generation (Summit Ridge to Pinnacle Ridge).
