Should i upgrade 660ti SLI to 770?

I have the option to trade my two palit 660ti's for a 770. I plan on purchasing nvidia 3d vision in a couple days since my monitor supports it. Should trade for the 770 or keep my sli config?

Going from SLI 660 Ti's to a single 770 would be a downgrade.

A 660 sli is going to be a lot faster and you will see at least another 10-15 ffs difference, the only problem is you will have to upgrade them in the next 1-2 years as it is old technology. 770 gives you more time and you can sli that at another point. 660 will have better performance and will be faster but the choice is up to you!

The 660Ti and the GTX770 are both Kepler cards and as the 770 has now been replaced by the 970 you aren't going to get more "time" IMO.

That makes no sense. Why would you have to upgrade the faster performing setup sooner, just because its "older tech"?

And just as Mousemonkey said, they use the same gpu basically (GK104)
