Should i upgrade from i5-2500?

Hi,

My GPU is Gigabyte GTX 1060 WF 6GB and I play games at 1080p.
I have i5-2500 non-K CPU and H61M-S2V-B3 motherboard, and I can buy an i5 4590 with B85M-D3H mobo that are used but in excellent condition.
The upgrade will cost me about 110$ (or 50$~60$ if I have an interested buyer).

Is it worth is?

why? 8-12% for 110 bucks.

Same speed and cache. Will be slightly faster but i doubt its enough to matter.

Yes I think it's time for an upgrade but no, not to a i5 4590. The small increase is not worth it. You could keep what you have and upgrade to an i7 3770 but I'm not even sure if that's the way to go (you can't overclock and you only have 2 slots for memory so no upgrade path, only a replacement path).
