Hi!
So i currently use 4GB GTX 970, is it worth upgrading to RTX 3050 if there is a chance to get it at MSRP or close to that? How much would it affect performance(games ofc)?
Would there be founders edition of it sold by nvidia?

Just in case - my CPU is Ryzen R5 2600, and PSU is Corsair CX650

Solution
is it worth upgrading to RTX 3050
TLDR - wait for release and actual 3rd party benchmarks.

It's not yet released. We don't have any benchmarks yet.
But from this graph provided by Nvidia, performance increase should be quite noticeable.
GTX 970 performance is similar to GTX 1650.
Though GTX 970 doesnt support RT nor DLSS.

From what I've heard and read from leaks, the RTX 3050 performance will probably be between GTX 1070 to RTX 2060. So although it may not be the best GPU, DLSS should make it reach 2060 Super performance (without DLSS) at 1080p to 1440p, if the leaks are correct on the performance capabilities.

Going from a GTX 970 to an RTX 3050 should be a 50-80% upgrade without DLSS depending on the game and graphics settings used. To get the most out of the 3050, you will want to upgrade to at least an Ryzen 5 5600X for 1080p gaming.

The RTX 3050 will have a $250 "MSRP" on release for the cheapest models. You might have a few days to get one at that price if you want to wait for benchmarks and reviews, but I personally wouldn't wait for benchmarks. Nothing else on the market will have the performance of the 3050 for under $300 new or used except possibly the RX 6500 XT at $200 "MSRP" whenever it's released.
