Hello guys! Right now i have a FX6300 OC to 4.3ghz and a GTX 760 SC. I've been thinking about buying a new GPU next week to take advantage of the new game coming out this fall such as Rainbow Six Siege, MGS5, Fallout 4, etc. I asked on Linus Tech Tips and received mixed responses. Some told me to buy a new GPU and others told me to switch to Intel because the FX6300 will bottleneck most GPU's. Help me out guys. Thanks!

CPU- FX6300 4.3ghz
MB- Asus M5A97 R2.0
GPU- GTX 760 SC
RAM- Corsair Vengeance 8GB
HDD- WD 1TB Black
OS- Windows 8.1
PSU- Corsair CX600

I would upgrade the CPU and motherboard. Get an i5-4690k + Z97 mobo and you'll be able to run any graphics card out there. Your FX-6300 is definitely going to bottleneck most cards above a GTX 760, so I would lay the foundation with a solid CPU and then get a better GPU when you have the money.
Depends where you live, and what you're looking for. I'd assume mainly gaming?

And with that price range you will be getting similar performance to the 760, consider saving up unless you're only after a new card because you're 760 is dead or w/e
