Should I Upgrade my Cpu or Motherboard and Cpu?

Hi, I have an FM2 socket motherboard and i'm looking to upgrade my cpu for upcoming games. My question is: Should I upgrade to the AMD A10-6800K or get an am3+ motherboard and get an AMD FX cpu? Or should I not upgrade at all?

(Btw I have an Athlon X4 750k cpu)

A10 is not a good investment if you already have a X4 750. They have similar CPU cores design, so you will not receive much gains. The point of A10 is to use its integrated graphics - and you would like some beefy dedicated video card I guess.

If you wish to upgrade now - LGA1150 is the better choice.
