To be honest any improvement from your 8150 would be barely noticeable. But, as games are utilizing more cores all the time the i7 is a better choice over the I5 if you plan on keeping your setup for a while.

If u decide on upgrading, U will be fine with an i5-4670K or 4670 depends on you want to oc or not.

Have fun!

Tell that to the people who were told 2 years ago that all you need for gaming was an I3 because games only use 1 or 2 cores.Gaming is changing and to stick your head in the sand and believe that 4 cores is the mark in the sand that games will not cross is wrong. As games utilize 5 or more cores the I5 will go the way of the I3, good for gaming but not the best. Also, older I7s will be given a new life as the fact they have more cores will outweigh their slower core speeds. Don' get me wrong , an I5 is the sweet spot now . But in a year or two where will it be.

No offense but I said gaming still equal with graphics. You have the thruth ofc, but these days u know 1 or 2 factory burns down, and +1 year until release the products... So here we are, better parts=future proof system= more money to spend. Its a hard tactical game :) Peace

I agree GPU is gaming, but as games utilize more cores it makes sense to invest $100 more on the CPU ( if you can) to allow you to game at the higher level longer without upgrading. We are here to help others and we all have differing ideas, so no offence is taken.Thank you for your willingness to help others and have a great day.
