I have an intel I7-960 3.2Ghz from 2010. I have recently purchased a GTX 770 2GB, so should I sell the 960 and buy an Intel I7 4770k?

I've been looking around and for some reason my CPU is going for over 399$ on sites such as Amazon. I mostly raid in World of Warcraft and I've been getting low FPS with raids that include 20+ people.

Your CPU is still pretty decent, if you have a good cooler and can overclock. If you can sell your CPU for that much though, I would go with something like this. Essentially it is an i7 4770 without the integrated graphics, which are useless to you anyway. You might need to turn some settings down for raid situations. Ordos puts my FPS into the teens. I do fine in LFR, generally though.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($86.66 @ Newegg)
Other: Xeon 1231v3 ($252.99)
Total: $339.65
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
