[SOLVED] Should i upgrade my CPU?

Im having trouble with fps in Assassins Creed Origins at the moment, where the fps is jumping, and after researching i found that the game is quite CPU intensive, and was just wondering if i should upgrade my CPU for future games to come.
My Pc specs are:
Intel (R) Core i7-4770 @3.40GHZ
GTX 1070
16gb of ram
Windows 7 (ikr)
1Tb hard drive

The issue is not with your hardware. The game itself is insanely unoptimized.

you build will remain solid for good 3years.. you dont need to upgrade it for 60fps+ 1080p high settings

for the game you mentioned.. poke around in settings.. turn off v sync.
problem is with game or its setting not with your build
