Should I upgrade my motherboard?

Hi, it's been about 4 months since I bought my gsming pc. It had a gigabyte ga-970a-ds3p motherboard and it only supports ddr3. Should I try to upgrade to one that supports ddr4?

If you upgrade to DDR4, you will need to upgrade your RAM and CPU.

Since you will have to upgrade the ram and cpu as well I would wait until ddr5 launches, unless you desperately need an upgrade.

My computer is running pretty great. Runs a lot of games I play. Only has a little trouble with GTA 5. Its playable with pretty much max settings but my textures are low.

Quick question: if I upgrade my cpu cooler to a nzxt kraken x52 will it be better than my stock coller?

The cooler will be better, but whether the performance will be better or not depends on how much you can overclock the CPU on the new cooler.
