Question Should I upgrade system for VR or Should I buy only USB 3 Mobo?

Hi,

I have following system:
Core i5 3570 Nvidia 1050 Ti Graphics Card, 16 Gb DDR 3 Ram, Gigabyte H61MS Mobo, Corsair 500 or 550 Power Supply
Issue is for VR I need USB 3 and my motherboard doesn't have it.
I have a budget of 270 USD.
Finding motherboard for usb 3 is hard where I live (I am from India). And USB 3 PCI Cards don't last long (I have tried Inateck Cards twice both failed in a year)
So should I upgrade my system ? If so what's the best option under 270 USD Budget. I am not interested in latest build, I want my build to last for 4-5 years. Thanks

A 1050ti isn't going to cut it for VR. You'll need a 1070, 1660ti or better. You'll need a card with DP 1.2 outputs. The Usb3 is the other connection.

I have already run all my vr games on 1050 ti and I am satisfied with it. I use WMR headset for VR.

I'm a little confused. If you are already running a windows VR headset and are good with it, why need the Usb3 port now? Most of those 3rd gen boards had 1x usb3 header on the mobo, my Z77 did, so you'd need 2x things a motherboard that has a usb3 header and a case that has usb3 ports or a add-in card with usb3 ports that plugs into the Usb3 header.
