Should I upgrade to FX-6300? (From AMD Phenom II 960t)?

I'm really in a tight budget and I'm planning to revamp my setup.. I'll be getting a Palit GTX 950 (from 750ti) and 8 GB Hyperfury 1866 (From 4 Gb 1333).. My problems comes with the processor I already have a 960t I can sell it for $50 (I'm from the Philippines) and buy a FX-6300 which is at $120. There's a difference of $70 and is it really worth upgrading? I mean how much MORE FPS will I get in games such as witcher 3?

I'm going to play games at 768p resolution only can live with a medium-high setting.

BTW i have a 600w PSU

Even assuming that you have MB that is compatible with FX processors, price difference is not worth the change. Your Phenom should be able to handle GTX 950 too.

Thanks for replying! Say I did go with the upgrade.. How much ( % ) would it would it improve my system?

Yes my MB is compatible with the FX

If you can overclock it to 4.2 GHz my bet is on about 20 - 30% in overall performance but in games may be much less.
