My computer freezes and crashes occasionally. I am a gamer, I want to play games at ultra settings. I currently replaced my hard drive and added an SSD for windows and are still have issues. I did fresh installs of everything. I currently have a AMD FX-8350 with a Asus Crosshair V board with 16gb 1800mhz ram and an EVGA GTX 780ti. The only things that I have not upgraded since I built this computer is the ram, cpu, and board. So I'm thinking I replace those parts but with what I do not know. I was looking into the 7th gen Intel's, the 8th gen Intel's, or the Ryzen. I have $600 to work with and I will need a new liquid cooler. Any and all advice is helpful thank you.

Whats the wattage on your power supply?

Slow down bro. You don't need to start buying new parts just yet. Give me some more information. How long have you had the build? Did you do anything recently that started the crashes? Also, can you list every piece of hardware you have in your pc.

Note: Almost no home pc can use 1050 watts of power. Most gaming pcs use around 500. Also, 250$ would be a terrible deal for your system.

No that is the PSU that I currently have. It is from 2012 when I got the board and a phenom ii with the current ram but in 2015 I got my FX-8350. I went overboard on the PSU cause i ran SLI 560ti classifieds. So most of the parts are from 2012, the cpu is the only new item apart from HDD and SSD.

How long has it been crashing? Also what cooler do you have and how many case fans do you have?

It has been crashing for like 2 months now, I have an Antek liquid cooler with 4 120 mm fans and 1 240 mm, I have a coolermaster 980 haf case.
