Should I upgrade?

Hey!

I currently have a Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9550 processor, and just ordered a new Graphics Card (ZOTAC GeForce GTX 570 1280MB PhysX CUDA).

Should I upgrade my processor aswell? I am considering buying a Intel Core i7-2600K, but I am not sure if it's a good investment or a waste of money.

q9950 is socket 775 cant put 2600k in it so would need new motherboard--hope you have a decent psu to run the gtx570
