Im gonna start with my current specs

CPU: i5 6600k OC to 4.5ghz
PSU: Corsair 750w 80 bronze
MOBO: MSI Z170A Gaming M3
GPU: Gtx 1060 6g
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaw V Series 16g (2x8) 288pin DDR4 2133
COOLER FOR CPU: Corsair h100i v2

my question is this....
im thinking about upgrading my cpu to i7 7700k and my gpu to gtx 1080, what i want to know is if everything in my current build still good enough to be with these upgrades

in other words, is my mobo still good enough for this cause i looked it up and it said its compatible and is my ram good enough and my psu

thanks for any advice

Solution
You can keep the PSU and RAM.
I would still upgrade the GPU first and prefer keep the I5 6600k for now actually.
But if you have the money, why not...and...jumping to I7 8700k is better than to 7700k, although you will need a new mobo.
1. Yes, you should be able to upgrade it. You might need a BIOS update for that. Update the BIOS before puting the new processor on the mobo.
2. Depending on what you're doing the upgrade from I5 6600k to I7 7700k could be only waste of money or a.k.a. not effective. You get only HT and no real big increase in real gaming experience..
3. GPU update to GTX1080 is effective.
4. The rest is ok incl your RAM and PSU.
5. Get an SSD, if you still do not have it.

ok then i have a further question

could i use my psu and ram if i were to get this motherboard https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Z370-GAMING-PRO-CARBON/dp/B075GYKNQY/ref=as_li_ss_tl?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1509583886&sr=1-5&keywords=msi+gaming+carbon&linkCode=sl1&tag=sciestud09-20&linkId=83d8ecc8e999cc566cb67859e8f68fb0

and get the i7 8700k
