Should I use the power cable that came with my GPU or the one that came with my PSU

So I'm wondering which cable I should use for my GPU that has two six pin power slots.
The dual 6 pin split cable that came with the GPU, or one of the 6 and 6+2 split cables that came with the PSU.
Which is a gold supernova G2, and the GPU is a 1080 Aorus xtreme edition.

This is also a question on the cable compatibility.

Solution

The adapter that came with the graphics card takes two 75-Watt 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors from the PSU and converts it into a single 150-Watt 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector that goes into the graphics card.

Always avoid using adapters if the PSU already has its own cables with the appropriate (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Yes I just realized that it does have two 8 pin connectors (by looking at the card)
Which makes it weird that the cable that came with it has two 6 pin connectors.
