[SOLVED] Should i use WD RE4 as primary storage?

Hi guys, recently i've just received my new hard drive, but it wont work. It is an WD RE4 1TB with serial of WD1000FBYX (i googled it its a 2011 model), i am currently planning it to replace my current hard drive.

TL;DR: Its DOA. Whirring noise at powering on, wont detect in bios.

My specs are:
CPU: E3 1240 v2
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-HD3
Ram: 2x4gb ddr3
GPU: MSi GT 730 OC
PSU: VS450

the problem im having rn is
-it took longer to go into bios like its loading up somtehing like for 7-10secs it is on the gigabyte logo with options like usual, then it starts to do the loading, using only my old drive it boots and immidiately loads windows.

-drive wont appear in bios both on IDE or AHCI mode

-it makes a whirring noise when turned on and silent with clicking noise (maybe the hdd head having problem?

-when i booted with my old drive, the wd re4 appears, opened task manager, detected and formatted at 931GB, but cant access it, windows explorer freeze, after restarting windows explorer the drive id formatted at 0 MB

now that im planning on replacing it as the seller said replacing it with another same unit, should i take it? im planning on using it as primary drive (128gb for windows and the rest for data). TIA🙏

Solution
I would say get an ssd, but that is at least 2x the price so if the WD RE4 is all you have on hand, and no budget for SSD go for it

...personally I am also using WD RE4 for my linux workstation, 2 of them in a software raid mirror :)
price of ssd's on my country went crazy during this time. im planning it to use as the only primary drive. is it okay? some sources ive read said that i need to turn off TLER, maybe TLER the cause of additional time of booting like 7 secs or so. should i continue with the replacement? no Raid config, just 1 hdd for all.
