Should I wait for a new GPU ??

Hi,

I have a new system waiting to be installed! I initially wanted to wait until I have enough money for a new graphics card (gtx 970) but being a little boy at heart I was wondering if I should just use my old one in the new build?! OR should I wait and have everything new

New build

: I7 - 4790K
16gb ram
Maximus vii hero motherboard

Current GPU = Gforce 560TI

Go ahead using your 560 Ti until you can get the 970, just remember to uninstall the 560 Ti drivers using DDU before installing the 970's drivers.

Bengal, either way I am going to go for the 970.

You shouldnt sit on new hardware. If any of the new parts are DOA, you will have to make a warranty claim instead of just a return/replace after 30/90 days.

Use the old card for now. Next month there will be new video cards released by AMD (300 series) that should blow the GTX 970 away. But until we see the benchmarks, its all speculation. Pricing will also be important.
