I plan on building a brand new gaming PC and just was wondering if it would be worth it to wait until Black Friday to buy parts, or just start buying parts now.
This is what I plan on buying

I am upgrading from a system with a 1050, i5 4570 and 8gb of ram.
I have a 1440p 144hz monitor and would like to be able to run games at high+ settings

Solution
If you are going with a 9700k, then no, waiting wont do much good. Those CPUs wont be any cheaper. But I would not recommend getting a 9700k. You are playing at 1440p. When you move up in resolution, the CPU becomes less important. I would save a ton of money by going with a 2600x and stock cooler. It will end up saving you about $400 and you will get the same fps. You will see some good black Friday deals on the 2600x though. So it will be cheaper.
