Should i wait to get a better graphics card?

So i am going to be selling my pc with a i5-6600 and a 1050 ti for about $825 im not sure if i should buy a ryzen 5 1600 and a gtx 1060 6gb with 8 gb of ram or should i wait and get a better cpu and ram now and a gtx 1070 ti later? i only work part time and make around 150$ a paycheck not sure what i should do just looking for some opinions on this. I should mention i only need this for school work i can go awhile with out gaming.

Personally, I would just upgrade your graphics card. That I5 is a perfectly capable CPU to handle a 1070TI. You'll save more money that way. Sell the 1050 and just upgrade from there.

I don't see why you are upgrading, unless the $825 was too good of a deal to pass up.
If you are ok with waiting, get a 2060 or whatever when it comes out.
If you aren't doing gaming, you don't need a vid card.
Why not just get a laptop?
