So, should i wait? Im planning to buy this:
Crucial 275gb SSD
Intel i7 7700K CPU and its cooler
GTX 1080
650W PSU Corsair CXM series
Msi Pro series Intel z270 Sli atx motherboard

I have an HTC Vive and do alot of gaming on it and on a 1080p monitor. I know a gtx 1080 is overkill for 1080p, but i still want it because i want to use super sampling on my vive.
Should i wait for vega release? My birthday is on september so my family will give me lotsa money.

My current pc is this:

Thanks guys.

I didnt check your current pc before this. Your pc is still good enough for current games @1080p and getting to 7700k will give you around 10% to 15% gain maybe. If i were you, I would wait for a better cpu and then go for a more powerful gpu at that time, as gpu prices might turn interesting when vega comes.
Then again if money is not a factor, what you have chosen is still some of the best for now.
Its better that you retain the cpu for now and just upgrade the RAM and GPU as you can carry them forward to your next build when you can upgrade to the next best one.
If you keep waiting, it will be like next big release and then again next big release, so on and so forth.
Having said that, the next gen Intel Coffee Lake 8700k should come by the end of the year or early next year with 6c/12t and the market should be more interesting in terms of cpu.
As for gpu, cant see how Vega will be radically different from current high end Nvidia offereings, other than price difference. But if money is not a factor, then current NVidia offerings are good enough.
So, all in all its a mixed bag. Personally i am waiting for the 6c/12t mainstream offerings from Intel as it will be a major paradigm shift from years of what Intel has offered.

Do you think what I chose is good for my pc? Like, im pretty noob on pc builds, since mine is a prebuilt.

One last question, what GTX 1080 do you recommend me? I need one that can be cheap but gives excellent performace. I would prefer one below $500. I see gygabytes gtx 1080 are the cheapest, any idea why? And if you could list the best ones so i could choose from them, that would be great.
