ok im getting 3 monitors im NOT using crossfire i was thinking about connecting 1 6950 to each monitor is that a good idea

Clarify! 1 HD6950 using 3 monitors or 3 x HD6950 running individual monitors? If the latter you would be better of with 2 x HD6950 in CF and run the 3 monitors in eyefinity!
