Hi Team,

I just built my brother a gaming PC and we are experiencing a few issues.
  1. Whilst in the in-game menus, CPU is at 67%, GPU is at 99% and 10GB of RAM is being used - Is this normal? Feels like too much?
  2. Game is lagging out random points and the PC is getting very hot.

The build is as follows:
Ryzen 5 3600 with Wraith Cooler
16GB Corsair 3200Mhz RAM
500GB M.2 SSD
AMD 5700XT 8GB GPU

I have built PCs before but this is my first "Gaming build", don't think there is anything wrong with the build specs.

Can anyone offer any advice? Any checks I should be running?

If any additional information is needed please let me know.
Quite weary that I have built the PC and it isn't running the game as smooth as I thought it would.

Thanks,
Sam

Its being played in 1080p on max FPS - I can drop the FPS BUT I thought on a new build, it should be good to run at max?
RAM is 2x8GB, can easily add in 2 more but didn't think i would need to.

Thanks

I might be wrong but I think you can choose a different max FPS for while in menus and for while in game. No need to be pumping out high fps while in the menus.

2x8gb is plenty, I just wanted to check you had dual channel. Also mixing 2 RAM kits could cause different issues.
