I got a GT 1030 and I update the drivers whenever GeForce Experience gives me the notification. I install using the express settings.
Is it fine to keep updating it or should I stick to the driver that gives me more performance?

To my understanding, the worst thing newer driver might (EDIT: usually) do is to cause problems or break compatibility with some older games long forgotten for most, gaming wise.

There's little to gain and not much to lose, as long as the driver is correctly installed.

It's a coin flip. Half would say to use the latest. Others (like me) would say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

As the Wolf said, if it ain't broke dont fix it. I have a much older GPU (GTX 770). I recently installed the most up to date drivers and got BSOD pretty much every few minutes. PC was unusable. Switched to an older driver, no problems whatsoever. Go with what works for you.
