Shouldn't Nvidia ShadowPlay work with the Nvidia Geforce 840m?

I want to record gameplay of games that I frequently play. I can't buy them and the free ones work but aren't that good. I am using OBS right now but apparently ShadowPlay is better. I have a Nvidia Geforce 840m but it still says that Shadow play can't work with it.

ShadowPlay only works with GTX graphics chips, not GT. So in the 8xx generation, only the 860m, 870m, and 970m are supported.
