Hello Tom´s Hardware Forum.
After I updated to the Windows 10 November update (1511) I shutdown my PC.
My screen went off but the PC stayed on.
After a minute or so I manually turned it off via the power button.
Since that every few days It happens that If I shutdown the PC and turn it on later, Windows does not continue on the latest savepoint (fastboot Windows 8) instead reboots and I get the errors 29,41 and 6008 in the Eventviewer.
If you shut down Windows 10 you can hear the shutdown sound.
I can hear it too, but in some cases the sound is interuppted.
Besides that, there is nothing suspicious about the shutdown.
But there has to be a problem causing these errors.
This problem does not happen everytime.
It went well for 10 days now.
Someone on the pcmasterrace subreddit had a similar problem and got it fix with a clean install of the GPU driver.
I´ve done that too, but it did not fix my problem.
I m a bit worried, that I could damaged my hardware when I turned my pc off via the power button on the pc case.
I have searched for hours, and did not find a solution for my problem.
Does anyone have some advice?

I for one will be glad when these teething pains with Windows 10 are over. Twice I've had crashes after updates and thankfully was able to restore an image and go on. The fact that they force buggy drivers on you is frustrating. Here is a read that may help or at least point you in the right direction:

Thank you BadActor for this fast reply.
I m glad, that I m not the only one with those issues.
I´ve read the article you linked, but I did not experience a reboot loop.
Its more of an random reboot after an faulty shutdown (Caused by ??).

Update:
So I was thinking what could cause this issue.
I m using HWMonitor to monitor my temperatures.
If you are familiar with HWM you may know that you can install it with the Install Client or download a single .exe file.
I use the single .exe and have not installed it directly on my system.
Now back to the problem. I was not using HWM since the last 10 days.
So I think HWM could be the core of this issue, but I m not 100% sure.
I will have to wait, and see how it will play out.
But for now I will not use HWM again.

One other thing crossed my mind, too. If you have a Haswell CPU, you might try disabling the C6/C7 sleep states in the Bios. I dont know what your power button option is set to, but if it is set to sleep, you might have trouble resuming from your sleep state.

I have an Intel i72600k (Sandy Bridge)
And the power button option is set to shutdown + the fast boot option is enabled.
But I have to mention, that I have not changed any of those settings since i installed Windows 8.1 and later upgraded to Windows 10.
It all points to this hardrest I made because the monitor went off and the pc stayed on.

50% relevant.
The problem with the black screen and power lights still on after the shutdown only happened once.
Because the pc did not turn off completly I turned it off by holding the power button. (This was the start of the whole problem)
Since this scenario the problem I´ve explained in the first post occurs sometimes.

I have an Intel DP67BG and the support for it ended in december 2013.
In the microsoft thread they mentioned the Intel Management Engine.
Its listed in the systemdevices of the device manager.
I have installed version 11.00.1146.
Someone got it fixed by updating it to the latest version.
Should I download the driver from the Intel site or should I update out of the device manager of windows?

Have not tested this yet because the issue does not happen every time. I can shutdown and start my pc again without any issues or error ID´s appearing.
I can not force the problem to pop up.
