Couple of months ago after upgrading to windows 10, my PC was turning off just fine without any problems.
After the update which changed some of Windows 10 Pro UI and features, My computer started acting weird while shutting it down.
Let's say i should click shutdown then the PC will going to be completely turned of.. that sounds normal.
Now it's like 10% of the times i shutdown my PC and it gets turned off completely, While 90% of the times it turns off completely then 3~5 seconds later it starts up again as you press the power button so i have to wait until it boots to Welcome screen then i must shut it down again to be completely off then it stays off.
This is weird and actually very annoying issue, Since i was depending on shutting down when i'm rendering movies or using download managers.
My PC used to turn off normally, But after this second update to windows 10, now it's just luck, sometimes i sleep while setting download to turn off after completing it and i wake up with a very small change that it's OFF, while most of times it just turns off and go back again to start, stucking on welcome screen until i turn it off again.
Solutions i tried:
Resetting Bios... Nothing.
Resetting Windows... Nothing.
Reinstalling Fresh Windows 10.. Nothing.
Checked wake up on LAN.. Nothing.
Check power when AC back and it's the same setting i'm using for the past 7 years.
Also my PC isn't that old, About 1 years old and it's components still new
System Specs:
MB: Gigabyte B85-HD3
Processor: Intel Core i7 4770
Ram: 16 GB
VGA: Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti Xtreme Gaming
PSU: CoolerMaster G750M
HDD: 2x 1TB + 2x 320 GB
Windows: 10 Pro with latest updates installed.
Also i set HDD power plan to turn off after 20 Minutes.
When i shutdown the PC, I notice that every HDD start to run until the 4x is on then it shutdown, Sadly sometimes it stay off and sometime it goes back on again.
I need a solution since sometimes the PC need about 2h Download and it turns off and starting back for like 2+ days while i'm not at home.
Sorry for the long explaining but i'm careful not to miss any small detail, Hopefully someone will be able to identify this issue
Thanks in advance.
