[SOLVED] Silent graphics card for 4k video

Can anyone recommend a silent graphics card that would be compatible with the Asus Z97M-PLUS Micro ATX Motherboard?

I'm not into gaming but looking for video output of 4k@60Hz and an HDMI port.

I've found the MSI GeForce 1030 but wondered if there was anything else out there?

There are passively cooled GTX 1650s, but that's about.

Although really, 4K video is ezpz for video cards (at least NVIDIA ones) to do and even if you get something like a RTX 3070, you can run it passively while watching a 4K video.

Haswell's IGP can do 4k60 output on DP. If all you need is 4k60 on HDMI, then you should be able to get by using a DP-to-HDMI converter.

I use a passively cooled EVGA GT1030 to run my TV.

I might switch it out for Intel's smallest desktop GPU, to see if it is any good, but also for HDMI 2.1 ports.

a 750ti will support 4K/60 and is the oldest (still) supported GPU by Nvidia. I am using one of the Gigabyte half height ones for media consumption currently. It is super quiet and works well for viewing movies and such. My cable box fan is louder than the whole system.

It looks to me that you already have HDMI available on the motherboard.

As far as Ark specs go, Haswell HDMI out only goes up to 4k24. Need to use DP for 4k60.
