I've been trying to figure out whether or not it is possible to link the single RGB header on a Asus Prime Z370-A to a Silverstone LSB01, and then use that unit to link up (and sync) 4 Cooler Master MasterFan Pro 120 RGB + a Cooler Master MasterAir MA410P.

Can anyone here tell whether or not all these are compatible? I've been trying to figure it out, but I'm afraid I've hit a wall.

I'm personally entirely new to RGB, and this isn't for my personal pc, so I'm quite anxious to get this right :).

For anyone wondering about the complete build (not final, changes may be made): Tweakers.net (Dutch website, it's the one labeled 'Lucas')

ok, the cooler master masterfan pro 120 rgbs do use the 4pin connection type ( here is a review: http://www.dvtests.com/cooler-master-masterfan-pro-120-air-balance-rgb-and-pro-140-air-pressure-test-and-review/ ) and the cpus cooler also uses the same rgb connections as well (here is a review: https://www.kitguru.net/components/cooling/dominic-moass/cooler-master-masterair-ma410p-rgb-air-cooler-review/ )

these two links should give you all the info you need in terms of installation, connections and performance
all of these products are Asus Aura Sync so they should all work as you intend, that said for the cooler not too sure if its manual controller is de-tachable or not (no pictures shown on CM's site) or if the controller isn't de-tachable if it would then allow aura sync to override the manual controller.

That is indeed unclear... and I'm still not entirely sure whether or not all the connectors are compatible with the LSB01, I've read about brands using proprietary connectors and/or connector wiring... which is the primary concern with that unit.

Have you got any insight on that particular issue?

I don't have any hsnds on experience with these products, I will do some research and see if I can get a good idea as to their connections and see if it all matches up, bring that they are all asus aura sync compliant they should work fine but I'll be back with more info

ok the silverstone lsb01 is only a RGB hub so no fans would connect to it, if this is what your looking for then yes it will work with that motherboard you pluge the silverstone lsb01 into the 4 pin RGB header on the mobo and connect the 2pin to molex cable to the lsb01 and connect the molex connecter to your psu (making sure the switch is set to "MB" (motherboard)) then connect your RGB stips (2 come with it) to the LSB01 and configure with asus aura, as for the fans, you just plug them into the 4pin fan headers on the motherboard and configure via asus aura and done deal. now if you were hoping that it was also a fan controller then you may have to get a dedicated fan hub. but the board in question does have 6 fan headers so unless you plan on having more than 6 fans, then your fine(or you could buy a 4 pin Y cable to max out at a total of 12 possible fans).

but to simply answer your question, yes the rgb hub (SilverStone LSB01) is in fact compatible with the motherboard in question(ie they both use the same 4 pin connections for RGB)

yeah, but the Cooler Master fans use a seperate connector for the RGB lighting, right? I'm asking about the compatibility with those :).

And again, thanks for all the effort 😀

is this hub compatible with Cooler Master Rgb Fans? i mean is this hub supports other manufacturer rgb product which has 4pin connector or only silverstone product will support?
