Question Asrock B450 Steel Legend motherboard is not loading the OS installer from pendrive ?

Dear Team,

I have a Asrock B450 steel legend motherboard with AMD Ryzen 3 3200G Processor. RAM corsair DDR4 8GB.
My problem is i cant load os through pen drive, When I am trying to boot through pen drive windows 11 or windows 10 after some hour still windows setup page not coming only loading . If I cancel the setup then taking time in cleaning temporary files but not proceed. Same happen widows 10 also.

If I put another SSD with preloaded OS widows 11. then its working & coming to desktop.

I already trying default settings on bios but no solution. i try to boot UEFI mode or normal but same problem happen.
Test bootable pendrive on another PC then work.
Replace smps also.
My ssd 240Gb samsung.

Is there anything need to change in bios or mother is faulty. Please suggest.

My ssd model is Samsung 870 EVO SATA SSD 240gb, If i am disable SATA still same issue.

Disable SATA ?
If you disable sata and your drive is sata, then drive becomes unavailable.

Set Sata controller to AHCI.
Disable Secure Boot.
Disable Fast Boot.

First i try without disabling then no solution, then i try to disable the sata but same issue. for ensure there no storage device issue.
Already disable secure boot & fast boot. its already in AHCI mode.

How long did you wait?!
If it actually loads from the usb then settings aren't going to change anything, if it loads it loads, all these settings are to make it boot in the first place.

If it has issues with some of the hardware then you might have to slipstream motherboard drivers into the Windows usb.

The mobo also has 'SATA Floppy Image' so even if you reach the page to select the drive you will have to load this driver to see your drives.

Thanks for reply, Actuallly i am waiting for one hour & still loading. Even if try to click on close then take huge time to close. so forcefully shutdown the machine.

If when I reboot the PC or switch on the PC its long time take to coming display. what is the issue i don't know.

From the usb that loads windows installer?!
Where do you reach that has something to close?
Can you upload a picture? (you can use imgurl or some other site to link pictures here)

Also if this already had windows running and you are trying to install new windows because things where taking a long time then it is more probable that some hardware has issues, maybe a bad drive since windows checks the drives to see if they are ok and if they are not ok it can take a very long time for it to do anything.

Yes. This would be my suspicion too. Samsung 870 EVO might be faulty.

Could be also corrupted file system on the drive and that interferes with install process.
Boot from your other drive and then perform diskpart clean on 870 evo.
(just make sure, you clean the correct drive)

I thought so too but if i remove storage device from motherboard then i run windows 11 setup through pen drive it should not taking much time to come windows 11 setup screen.

Issue now resolved, i reset the bios from shorting the mobo pin.
But after turn on its take bios display near about 30 seconds. Please suggest.
