Question Simple PIC Controller driver needed for Windows Server 2016

Installing Windows Server 2016 Essentials on a new Gigabyte Z960 Aorus Elite AX along with Intel i9-12700k proc. Everything installed except the Simple PC Controller which is the Intel Management Engine. I initially installed Win 10 on it and applied all updates and drivers to make sure everything is working. I know the mobo does not support Win Server which is why there is not a driver for it. But will other drivers work? Can the INF file be edited to trick it?

If not, would a new AMD mobo and proc work with Windows Server 2016. I can still return the hardware for an exchange.

It's worth trying a few Intel Management Engine drivers for other versions of Windows, without editing the .inf file. I frequently find that drivers from the Dell or HP web sites work well, or you can try one of the many versions direct from the rather confusing Intel web site.
