Hi
I have a quick question. My 4 pin PSU FAN slot doesn't work ( the cpu fan is not spinning) . I wanted make sure the fan is not broken and I connected it to other slot which happend to be 3-pin SYS_FAN1. It is working now. Can it stay like that or rather it should be only temporary ... Is there any other possible way to go around with that problem without loosing any power, and without any unwanted bad lucks in futere.
Thanks

Make sure you have the 3 pins alligned correctly to the 4 four pins of the MB CPU_FAN. You can try puttinf the cpu fan cable to the 3 pins on the MB starting from the left and if that don't work, try from the right. If either don't work, get a multimeter and verify that the power delivered is indeed 12V. If not, then you have a faulty MB and should RMA it if you just got it. Although it does work if you plug it in the system fan plug, I'm not sure how well the fan speed management system will work (You don't mention if you have Intel or AMD CPU).
