My current Ryzen 5 2400G doesn't support windows11 so I need a CHEAP upgrade that will.
Nothing fancy, just a home office computer.
Must have integrated graphics.
Currently have 16gb DDR4-3200, so I would like to use that. Will consider purchasing DDR5 if there's a good combo deal or something.

Thanks

Here is a list all all AMD cpu's that windows 11 supports
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/w...supported/windows-11-supported-amd-processors

here is a list of all CPU's supported by your motherboard
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450M-PRO-M2/support#cpu

There are a lot of CPUs that will work with your board and windows 11
Then they added them to the list since I last checked. I researched extensively a few months ago and the lowest comparable model I could find that was on the win11 supported list was the 5600G and that's not supported by my motherboard.
I do see they added the 3400G to the list, so that's my answer. 3400G. $$

Just make sure you have the necessary BIOS version (or newer) installed before installing the 3400G.

i'm using my ryzen 2200g with previously a msi b450 gaming max for 2 years, and last year upgraded to a 4600g. then bought a b550mh to pair with my 2200g. both run on windows 11 and never had issues. didn't even need a windows 11 key or use a 3rd party program as M$ for some reason provided me with one during installation (installer was also downloaded from M$ website).

just use the ryzen smu checker to make sure the bios version of your motherboard supports your cpu then check the board's website for windows 11 drivers.
