Single channel means only 1 ram stick?

Hi guys.I'm planning to buy a laptop with AMD A4-Pro 3350b processor.
Specification says it has only single memory channel that supports ddr3-1600 ram. It means that I cant add additional ram stick ? That laptop has 4 gb ram installed.And I can't get the information about the maximum memory supported by the processor.
Incase if I want to upgrade the ram,will I be able to do so??

I just want a laptop for basic use.Plus Im getting this from a friend of mine at a cheap price.And most importantly I cant afford to buy and new i3 laptops.Thats the main reason I'm buying this laptop

It has single ram slot. Max memory 4GB.
If it already has 4GB ram installed, you can't upgrade.

You can upgrade to 8gb, has one ram slot, take the 4 out put the 8GB in.

sorry but crucial says it can take an 8GB stick, just because they shod it with a 4 is irrelevent, I would get 8GB stick of this ram
