So I've read that manual overclocking on a ryzen 5 3600 worsens your single thread performance so gaming would perform worse. But I've noticed that I can clock the cores individually in the ryzen master software. So my theory is if I overclocked cores 1 and 2 to something like 4.5 would I get better single-thread performance? Is it a good idea to clock cores individually? Thanks for any advice

Solution
Ryzen Master will show gold star(s) for best core(s) but there's no guarantee OS and SW/games will use those ones.
It's also not sure you could OC them that much without disabling some cores.
