As the title states. when booting a game or furmark. I hear a single loud click coming from my pc. I can quit the game or furmark and immediately start them back up or wait till gpu fans stop and no noises will happen. Sometimes it will do it while playing a game. Ive already replaced the psu as it was about 6 years old and I thought it was starting to fail. I checked all fans on gpu and system and aio. After it clicks I cant get it to repeat for sometime. Sometimes if i let it sit idling for an hour or so and try again I can hear the click. It seems like its a relay clicking on. my specs are 13900k, Asus Z790 Hero, 4090FE, 1200w Asus Thor PSU. Ive googled for hours and have not found any info. I made a video after starting pc and letting idle for about an hour. any help would be appreciated.

The click is at the 3 sec mark or so. I wish it was a hdd. But im running 2 980 pro nvme drives. I thought about the gpu fan but I can manually turn them on and no noises. I will try go let it idle and just activate the fan and see if the sound happens. Have not. done that yet.

I heard no click, could be the GPU fans kicking in or the PSU fan turning on/off. If your using a HDD it could also be that.
Just let pc idle for an hr then used afterburner to activate the fans. No click sound. I'm just at a loss.

Been trying all afternoon. I cant seem to figure this noise out. Ive triple checked nothing is touching any fans. I can watch the psu fan come on and off without any noise. It's very inconsistent. Am I being crazy about this.

Update: narrowed the noise down to the gpu. I contacted Nvidia and sent them a video. They stated that the noise is definitely an issue from the 4090 and I have rma'd the gpu.
