i really dont get what people care about noise for.

i have i think a 6 year old dvd drive, and that thing is the loudest thing in my computer, i want to replace it, but don't feel like dealing with installing new hardware at the moment.

other than that, while gameing, i have headphones on, or surround sound loud enough that any noise my pc makes because its at load is a moot point.

and lets put this into perspective, look up a db noise to get an idea of how quiet even the loudest one is.

The 2 1/2" drive is mounted backwards. It's a tight fit, but the cables come in through holes on the other side of the case.
