Size and Speed

Hi
Assuming all is compatible, I'm upgrading my PC with an Intel Xeon E5-4650 CPU and Asus Rampage IV Extreme motherboard and 32Gb RAM. The CPU spec states that the chip will support 1600 MHz RAM. Would I gain any speed or advantage using 1866 or 2400 MHz RAM?

yes you do get advantage but not that much significant to feel the raise in performance . . not noticeable for a normal gamer or user ....

In gaming the ram is not much more than a conduit, so 2-3 fps in gaming. Significant gains where software is using large amounts of data.
