Question Size of my GPU

Hi, im thinking of getting a ROG STRIX RTX 2070 Overclocked edition but its bigger than my motherboard, would it still work or does the gpu have to be smaller than my mobo.

Most GPUs are going to be larger than a typical motherboard, the case is the only size requirement that really matters.

it can be bigger then the mobo. question is does it fit in the pc case.
