Sizes of Components

I have decided to build my own computer however, I am very concerned about how everything will fit together. If it says ATX in the product description, does that mean that it will fit with all other ATX components or will I have to take measurements?

ATX, if a motherboard or Case is a standard. All ATX motherboards will fit in cases that handle ATX motherboards. An ATX power supply is 'full sized' and will fir in an ATX case.

The other 2 thing to look out for
1)if you getting custom cpu cooler, make sure it fit in the case
2)also check the case spec for the max gpu length
