Hi, guys

I recently bought a PC from cyber power and its been working great. It runs AAA games with no problem. However, I have noticed a weird stuttering noise when I boot up my PC. I've posted a link to the YouTube video below.

Solution
Not at all. Open up your PC and you should see the back of the drive at the top. There should be two connectors coming out of it. One small and one larger. Pull out the larger one and boot the system. :)

Thank you for your reply! I have no CD in my optical drive, so does that eliminate the possibility that it's my optical drive?

Yes, only when booting up, other than that the only noise I hear are the fans.

P.S. I've already started moving the files on my hard drive.

Sorry Sam, I'm not good with computers. Is it hard to unplug the CD drive?

Thank You so much for all your help Sam. I will try doing that and give you an update of the issue. :)

So I disconnected the optical drive and the noise stopped. I just hear the fans now!!! Thank you so much for your help! So, the next step is for me to replace my optical drive right? I've linked a new video of booting up the PC, please let me know if it's still making any unnecessary noise. Thanks again Sam, you just made my day!! :) :)

I'm happy to help and no problem! :)

Glad I helped you out. CD Drives are only about £10. You just unscrew the old one from both sides and then take both the wires out and then put both the wires back In and you're done. :)

That video sounds fine btw. If you need any more help, you can feel free to private message me.

Sounds good Sam :)
