Skullcandy Navigators & mic vs Black Ops 3

So I have a current $50 budget to work with, and what I can do is get a pair of headphones, namely the Skullcandy Navigators:

I am a content creator on YouTube and I'm unsure if I'd benefit more from having better peripherals for better sound quality (I'm using stock samsung earbuds and my webcams built in mic) or if it would be better to have a wider variety of content. If it helps, I run a channel that originated with CoD:AW content but slowly moved to minecraft and GTA V and I've been wanting to move back.

The difficult part of my decision comes when you realize that half of the reviews for the audio products are very critical but so are half of the reviews for BO3.

I would love some help on this. Bias is welcome as long as there is some sort of explanation for it. Thanks!

I am going to be equally critical on the audio. The vast majority of skullcandy headphones are horrible rubbish, they are like the beats by dre of cheap headphones most of what you are paying for is marketing the headphones themselves are mediocre at best. In that price range get yourself some decent headphones like the audio technicas i linked below. I have no interest in cod at all and haven't played one since black ops 1 so I have no recommendation there, personally I would rather spend money on headphones.
