skyrim freezes or crashes, do I have a vram problem

Boss and wrye bash says everything is good. Skryrim crashes all the time or freezes, I can still hear the music. I'm running 130 mods, carrying 30 followers. Vram?
8 GB ram ddr3 AMD Phenom II 960 T Quad ATI Radeon 6750 HD Graphics card
1.5 terabyte Hard drive
Windows 7 home premium
Skyrim 1.9.32
tried latest beta version of SKSE
and tried going back to latest alpha version of SKSE
ran ccleaner that help for 1 hour then back to old problems
most likely to freeze on fast travel or start up
Body style change mod loads take 3 minutes at start and every time I go thru a door or fast travel.
Any thoughts.. don't know how to check my temperatures

If you're using ENBoost, then VRAM isn't an issue as it pools VRAM and RAM together, plus allows more than 2GB.

Defrag your hard drive - most likely all your mods and the game files are all fragmented. This causes a lot of delays in the game.

Also, disable any non-essential mods and try to run the game. Also, unless you have the 2GB version of the HD 6750, you're going to need to disable any HD textures and MSAA.

Also, BOSS is outdated and I think abandoned, use LOOT instead.

I agree with jessterman21, try Defrag your drive that you have the mods and skyrim installed on could be thats the issue.


Are there any recent mods you installed lately where these issues started to arise after you installed the mod? if yes then try uninstalling the last couple mods you installed and then see if it runs better.
