Skyrim is using integrated graphics instead of GT 555M

My Asus N55SF has a GT 555M.

I am trying to run Skyrim on it. NVidia control panel tells the system to use the GT 555M on it, but the game is still trying to use the integrate card. I tried deleting the configs (RenderInfo.txt, Skyrim.ini, and SkyrimPrefs.ini) to no avail.

Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Had a similar issue with my n75sf, i switched to nvidia control panel instead of using the Inspector or w/e. Disabled my onboard graphics to no avail and now it seems to work for whatever reason, although control panel no longer recognizes my laptop screen (I play on a larger second screen, I guess thats pertinent info) Now my noboard graphics are controlling my laptop screen and my second screen is nvidia controlled but I couldn't tell you exactly how it happened other than to say try getting a second screen and screwing around with it. I'm sorry I cant be of more help, I just thought you should know other people have had similar issues. The struggle is real lol. I'm kinda a freak about this stuff, never let anyone tell you that you cant water cool a laptop, they tried to tell me that and here I sit with a water cooled overclocked laptop. My 555m is 675/900/1300 base clock and currently stable at 750/1030/1450 overclock without any hiccups. I'm certain I could push it farther (gpu temp has never gotten higher than 60 c even in graphics extensive scenarios) but why tempt fate. I run skyrim and fallout on 2k graphics without any stutter, despite having literally over a hundred mods on either game.
