Sleep mode... never

Is it alright to change sleep mode to never? I use a lot of audio programs, and I guess when the computer goes to sleep it stops the audio drivers from working properly. So I have to reboot the computer each time. So turning it off sounds like a good option. Can you tell me any reason why this would be harmful?

Yes its fine...we turn off ALL sleep/hibernation/power saving modes on all machines we sell in my shops...

I keep my own systems power options set to "never" myself and haven't experienced any issues, you're just simply telling your machine exactly what you'd expect...don't go into sleep mode.
