Sleeping State LEDs

Hello guys,

I seem to have an issue, can't find a proper solution. Whenever I turn my machine off,(Windows 7 desktop), the headset, keyboard and mouse LEDs remain on. The motherboard manual only describes how to edit the power management of the LED on the front panel of the tower. The BIOS setup menu doesn't offer a solution either. Googling the issue leads to nowhere. Any ideas how I can make the LEDs go off once the machine is shut down? At the moment, I gotta switch off the PSU every time my PC is shut down just so the LEDs go off.

Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61M-USB3V
CPU: Intel Pentium G2030 (3Ghz)
GPU: Radeon HD 7770 Core Edition
RAM: Corsair 4GB (2x2GB)
PSU: some weird, old make, 500W
HDD: Seagate 500GB, SATA interface
Mouse: R.A.T. 3 Gaming mouse
Headset: Corsair Raptor HS40 (USB 7.1)

Thank you.

Doesn't feel like the problem is with the PSU, all the wires are intact and everything is flowing like a well oiled machine... Except for the LEDs. I generally though it had to be a motherboard issue but tell me if I'm wrong.

Is there anything specific I could take a look at with the motherboard?
I read some things about this 1-pin 5V port that I could find on the board, apparently it is responsible for the power the computer gets in its sleeping states but I can't seem to find this port on the board or anything about it in the board manual. There is one to work with LEDs on the front panel of the tower but that's not the issue, it's the keyboard and the mouse that concern me most.

It doesn't make sense that a broken keyboard would light up the LED(s), but oh well as long as it's fixed.

The keyboard had some hardware issues that stopped the switch for LEDs working, I think. But yeah it wasn't exactly "glitching out" sorry
